How To Change Your Main

For the purposes of raid balance and loot distribution, DoC requests that raiding members declare their Main. This is done via the Main Registry raid sign-up sheet.

In the event that a member wishes to change their Main, the member should take the following steps:

1. Cancel their current Main's sign-up in the Main Registry raid sign-up sheet.
2. Post a sign-up for their desired Main in the Main Registry raid sign-up sheet.
3. Post a formal request to Switch Main in the Sign-Up Sheets forum.
   • Please use 'Switch Main Request: OldName to NewName' for the subject of your post.

Switch Cool Down Period

There is a 90-day cool down when switching mains. Raiders may request to switch before the cool down has expired, however, their new main will be considered an alt until the cool down period has expired.

If a member has not explicitly declared a Main, the cool down commences from their first recorded raid.

Note: rolling on loot for one's current main after requesting a switch is frowned upon.

Request Date	Date New Main was requested.
Current Main	Main as of Request Date.

Effective Date	Date New Main will be a Main.
Cooldown Date	Date after which another Main may be requested; 90 days after Effective date.
Cancel Date	Date request cancellation was received - must be received before Effective Date.
