Village Idiot
This rank is typically reserved for silly situations and overall guild hijinx... please don't let anyone sit at this rank for too long![edit]
Initiate
New members have this rank for 2 weeks. This probationary period is to allow the new guildmember the chance show the kind of guild activity and conduct we like to see. 2 week extentions due to extenuating circumstances are available at the discretion of the recruiting officers. Initiates may also recommend other players which they think may be a good fit for the guild.[edit]
Member
Your standard member's rank. Once the probationary period is over, the initiate's conduct is reviewed by a recruiting officer. If the initiate is found to be a good fit for the guild, they are promoted to this rank. Members are fully fledged and functioning contributors to the guild, and have the added privilege of inducting their alt characters into the guild.[edit]
Veteran
A guild member that has shown good, consistent contribution to the organization and its allies in one or more of many forms (good attitude and conduct, raiding excellence, extreme helpfulness to newer members, contribution to the guild vault, etc). Recruiting officers keep an eye out for potential candidates which may be eligible for promotion to this rank.[edit]
Retired Officer
Reserved for retired officers who no longer wish to carry the added responsibilities of a guild officer.[edit]
Jr. Officer
Basic duties include guild induction of alts and sponsored players, basic guild conduct policing and conflict handling. Jr. officers are involved in the day-to-day handling of guild affairs, servicing the needs of the guild membership. May also be involved in projects managed by officers and sr. officers.[edit]
Officer
Basic duties include guild induction of alts and sponsored players, promotion and demotion of guilded characters, guild conduct policing and conflict handling. Officers are less involved in the day-to-day handling of guild affairs while keeping a more open mind to new policy development and changes at a higher level. They may have project or initiative committees attached to their domain of responsibility, and will chair those committees.[edit]
Sr. Officer
Basic duties include guild induction of alts and sponsored players, promotion and demotion of all guild members and officers, guild conduct policing and conflict handling. Sr. officers are most involved with the background management of resources and guild policies to keep the guild running smoothly. They are, in essence, the sr. project managers of the guild.[edit]
